The main reason you or anyone else would want to get the Hagel Technologies-developed application TweakMASTER is to get better browsing speeds. Provide some information about your internet connection and TweakMASTER will present you with several optimization strategies to speed up your internet connection.

Speaking about speed, downloading and installing TweakMASTER on your Windows-powered PC will only take a moment. The 2MB download will complete in a blink, and the setup wizard will guide you through the installation process in a speedy manner.

There’s nothing too complicated about TweakMASTER’s interface: it presents you with all the various functionality it has to offer and with a brief explanation underneath each function. To improve your internet connection, just select “Connection Optimization Wizard” and a wizard will guide you – novice users should take advantage of this function. Advanced users should select “Advanced Optimization Settings” instead. This function lets the advanced user manually tweak advanced networking settings.

Before you go and try to improve the speed of your internet connection, perhaps you would like to find out how fast (or slow) your connection is. In order to do so, you need only to select “Connection Speed Measurement” from TweakMASTER’s interface. After you apply TweakMASTER’s optimization strategies, you may want to run the speed measurement tool again to see if there are any improvements.

TweakMASTER has several other functions to offer, like a DNS accelerator (speed up DNS lookups for faster browsing), a network connections viewer (see all open network connections), a clock synchronization tool, a tool to look up Whois info on domain names and IP addresses, and a network traffic tool called DU Meter. It must be mentioned that DU Meter, a tool that displays real-time network traffic info, is also available as a standalone application.

TweakMASTER, just as DU Meter, is only free to try. You can use the application for free during a trial period of 30 days. You will need to get a license to keep using the application once the evaluation period is over.

There are several functions to choose from and chief among them is the Connection Optimization Wizard that automatically optimizes your internet connection. DU Meter is integrated in TweakMASTER. You can use TweakMASTER for free for a lengthy trial period of 30 days.

Cons:
LinkFox does not work in the trial version.
